Deception Pass Park

This is a park that I have fond memories of Dan and I visiting when he was stationed at Whidbey Island.  We thought Alex would really enjoy seeing the boats go through the pass and that he would enjoy being able to pick up as many rocks as he wanted; something we struggle to get him to leave alone in the flower beds of our backyard.  Dan showed Alex how to throw the rocks into the water.  We saw lots of boats, barnacles, and seaweed.  Alex loved getting soaked up to his knees as the tide came in.

Father's Day Weekend

This was a fun filled Father's Day weekend.  At the last minute we decided to take a trip out to Snoqualmie Pass and take a train ride.  Our little train enthusiast was ecstatic to get to take a ride on a real steam locomotive.

On Sunday I had purchased tickets to a Seattle Mariners Game.  Dan loves baseball and I know he was excited to get to share Alex's first baseball game with him.  

Of course, what baseball would be complete without one of those foam hand thingies!
